Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health care coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, and holiday pay.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for leading our aftermarket services efforts, overseeing customer support, and driving revenue growth through strategic planning and execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record in developing and executing successful aftermarket strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive aftermarket services strategy aligned with company objectives
    • Lead and manage the aftermarket services team
    • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and expectations
    • Oversee exceptional customer service delivery and timely issue resolution
    • Collaborate with new unit and parts sales teams for aftermarket service opportunities
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Optimize service delivery processes for improved efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced quality
    • Implement best practices in inventory management, logistics, and field service operations
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the aftermarket services budget, including capital investment and operational spending
    • Track and report on key financial metrics, such as service revenue, profit margins, and cost control
    • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through new service offerings, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Team Development:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing aftermarket services team
    • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities
    • Lead initiatives to enhance aftermarket service offerings and differentiate from competitors
    • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams for aftermarket considerations
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent from an accredited institution (desired)
    • High School diploma, required
    Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in aftermarket services, customer support, or a related area, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful aftermarket strategies
    • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategy development
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
    • Ability to lead and inspire teams in a dynamic environment
    Travel and Work Environment
    • Ability to travel up to 50% (Largely domestic)
    • This position splits time between office environments and visiting customer sites, field operations, and other company locations
    • The role may involve occasional weekend or evening work to meet deadlines or address urgent customer needs
