Key Responsibilities:- Provide Comprehensive Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patients' physical and emotional needs, ensuring seamless care coordination with other healthcare professionals.
- Administer Medications Safely: Administer chemotherapy and other medications safely and effectively, monitoring patients for potential side effects and taking appropriate action.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Support Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-care techniques, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License: Possess a current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Experience and Certification: Have at least one year of RN experience, preferably in oncology, and hold an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification, if applicable.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
