Job Description:
This is a part-time shuttle driver position available in Albany. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a valid NY Class C or higher CDL with passenger endorsement, and a valid medical card. They will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patrons in a polite manner and assist them in any way possible
- Safely shuttle customers to various destinations
- Open and close doors for patrons
- Adhere to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Complete required pre-trip inspections
- Record passenger counts and trip times
- Complete necessary paperwork
- Assist in equipment set up and break down
- Sweep shuttles and remove debris
- Communicate mechanical problems to management
- Comply with company procedures
Requirements:
A valid NY Class C or higher CDL with passenger endorsement and a valid medical card are required for this position. Previous customer service experience is also highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits:
This part-time position starts at $22/hour and offers opportunities for advancement. Eligibility for health/dental insurance and paid vacation after one year is also available.
