Janitorial Worker

About the Role:

The Janitorial Worker provides essential cleaning and upkeep services for assigned areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients and staff. This role is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities, adhering to procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Notify managers of minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and management.
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Perform seasonal tasks, such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, removing snow, and other incidental tasks.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required, with on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
