Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and clients.

Job Summary

The Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide will assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided at all times. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required by State/County law
  • Food Handler's card required
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
