Job Title: Veterinary Assistant

At Evans East Animal Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our medical team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures, diagnostic tests, and patient care
  • Obtain health history from clients and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, restock medical supplies, and perform other administrative tasks as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting, preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work on feet for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care
