About the Role

Rivermont Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral services to students and supporting teachers and classroom support personnel in achieving optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral services to students in individual or group settings, including assessment, programming, and supervision.
  • Develop and implement behavioral programs, including functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide consultation to teachers and other behavior support personnel on behavioral strategies and data collection tools.
  • Assist with the development of behavior strategies, IEP goals, and data collection tools.
  • Provide instruction on Response to Intervention (RTI) and Behavioral Skills Training (BST) for classroom staff.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • 2 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs.
