Job Summary:

As a RN Shift Manager in our NICU, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing personnel in one or more patient care units. Your primary goal will be to ensure that patients' needs are met and evaluate unit nursing care and performance. You will participate in planning work for assigned units and coordinate activities with other patient care units and related departments. Additionally, you will plan and organize training for unit staff members and participate in guidance and educational programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel in one or more patient care units
  • Verify that patients' needs are met and evaluate unit nursing care and performance
  • Participate in planning work of assigned units and coordinate activities with other patient care units and related departments
  • Plan and organize training for unit staff members
