Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months of hire date.
- Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
