About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team at ReWorld. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between our facilities and client sites. This is a unique opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat beds.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner, adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to designated locations, meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
  • Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork, including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
  • Complete additional assigned duties.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reworld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience and Power Take-Off (PTO) such as hydraulic pumps preferred.
  • Must be 21 years or older due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
  • CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.
  • HazMat endorsement is highly preferred but not required.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs.
  • Abide by standard DOT regulations.
