Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Danos. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for laying out, positioning, and securing parts for welding and bolt-up, as well as measuring, marking, cutting, boring, fitting, and installing various piping and structural components.

• Lay out and position parts for welding and bolt-up
• Measure and mark piping and structural components
• Cut, bore, and fit piping and structural components
• Install piping and structural components in accordance with blueprints and job specifications
• Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and other safety processes
• Conduct behavioral-based safety observations

• 5 or more years of prior fabrication experience
• Able to interpret ISOs and P&IDs
• Able to fabricate and install pipe supports
• Verify spool dimensions
• Perform system walk-downs to validate proper installation
• Able to hydro-test and reinstate piping systems
• Able to cut piping with a torch
• Experience with safe work habits

• Written Fitter and ISO Assessment
• Hands-on Fitter test
