About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Services: Prepare patients for imaging procedures, conduct X-Ray and Fluoroscopic imaging, and ensure accurate and efficient processing of images.
  • Patient Care: Engage patients in their care, obtain vital signs, and document patient information in our electronic medical record system.
  • Clinical Support: Assist with clinical and medical tasks, including injection preparation, wound care, and DME application and instruction.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Triage: Triage phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in radiologic technology.
  • Certifications: Certification by the ARRT within 6 months of beginning job and licensure by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety required.
  • Experience: Relevant experience as an X-ray technician, with familiarity with medical assistant responsibilities and orthopedics preferred.
  • Language: English, Spanish beneficial (not required).
