We are seeking an Experienced Premium Auditor to join our team. As a Premium Auditor, you will examine the financial records of insurance companies to ensure they are following laws and regulations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by auditing policyholder's records and applying manual rules and company standards.
  • Preparing for the audit by identifying the necessary information and type of records needed.
  • Preparing a schedule to maximize optimal use of time.
  • Corresponding with insured entities via phone, email, and mail to set up audit appointments.
  • Examining policyholder's records, gathering data to determine correct classifications for business activities, and writing an effective description of operations.
  • Preparing complete audit documents, explaining results to insured entities, and communicating results to the home office.
  • Traveling to multiple audit locations daily/weekly.

Requirements for this role include:

  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent, plus two years of experience performing premium audits or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
  • General PC knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and Word, with knowledge of Visual Audit being a plus.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

We offer a comprehensive benefit package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage options, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching. Our generous paid time off policy and 7 paid holidays ensure a healthy work-life balance. Salary is $44,700 - $55,000, depending on experience, plus a signing bonus. Weekly pay and immediate vesting in the 401(k) plan are also offered.
