The Arkansas Government Job is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Care Specialist. This role will be responsible for providing direct patient care and other patient services in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical and family history assessments, and monitor vital signs to develop and update patient care plans.
- Consult with physicians to discuss problem cases, provide assistance with case management, and refer patients to appropriate clinics or agencies for treatment.
- Respond to emergency situations and administer appropriate treatment.
- Counsel and instruct patients and family members on proper care and use of medication and medical equipment.
- Develop and implement community health education programs in collaboration with community leaders, teachers, parents, and physicians.
- Supervise daily activities of licensed practical nurses and nursing aides.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of two years of Public Health Nursing experience in a Local Public Health Unit setting.
- Experience working with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
This position may require working rotating shifts, hours other than normal working hours, or being on call.
What We OfferThe Arkansas Government Job offers a competitive salary range of $63,830.00 to $88,058.00, depending on location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
