Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team of educational professionals. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping students reach their full potential by providing individualized therapy services, assessments, and program development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess student needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and teachers to create individualized education programs (IEPs) that address each student's unique learning goals.
- Lead engaging therapy sessions individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services provided, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to the development and implementation of student learning plans.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
