Machinist Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and reassembling machinery using machinist's tools, chain hoists, and steel rollers. You will also install ship machinery, such as propelling machinery and steering gear, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Dismantle and repair defective parts
* Reassemble machinery using machinist's tools
* Install ship machinery from blueprints
* Use hand tools, calipers, and micrometers

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience as a Machinist
* Strong knowledge of machinist's tools and equipment
* Ability to work from blueprints and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving skills
