Job Summary

**About the Role:**

The Manufacturing and Process Improvement Engineer will be responsible for driving efficiency and safety improvements in our assembly and fabrication areas. This role will work closely with the Director of Operations and Engineering to identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and collaborate with maintenance teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Design and Development: Assist with design projects, focusing on safety considerations and process improvements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, promote a safety-first culture, and identify potential risks.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations, EHS, and Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent).
  • Skills and Experience: Lean Tools knowledge, project management skills, and experience in industrial or manufacturing environments are preferred. Bi-lingual candidates are also welcome.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.
