ICU Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Northwest Medical Center - Springdale. As a critical care RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Teach patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills, promoting empowerment and independence.
• Assess the behavioral and physiologic status of post-anesthesia patients, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Develop, modify, and integrate patient care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Establish individualized patient goals, working closely with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification at start or acquired within the first 90 days of employment.
