Job Specifics:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures using advanced gamma camera technology and ensure proper injection techniques for radioisotopes.
  • Perform intravenous punctures and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required.
  • Prepare examination rooms, communicate effectively with patients, obtain informed consent when necessary, and gather accurate clinical histories.
  • Guide patients through the examination process, explaining procedures and positioning them appropriately.
  • Select and implement suitable imaging techniques and protocols to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a recognized college or technical institution; or a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association is mandatory.
