Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Receive, identify, and prioritize specimens for testing
  • Perform and report laboratory procedures, including quality control and proficiency testing
  • Evaluate patient identification to reduce analytical and post-analytical errors
  • Follow regulatory requirements and maintain safe laboratory practices
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a Medical Laboratory Technician program - CAHEA accredited
  • Preferred: 1 year hospital/clinic experience
  • Must have one of the following certifications: ASCP or NCA, or obtain within 8 months of hire date
