AST SpaceMobile is seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production of our satellite communication equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect Electrical and Mechanical Assemblies: Conduct thorough inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies to verify conformance to design requirements.
  • Perform Product Inspections: Inspect finished goods, including First Article Inspections and certified supplier document reviews, to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Document Nonconformances: Document production nonconformances in accordance with provided procedures and processes.
  • Maintain Quality Management Systems: Maintain QMS policies and procedure documentation, verify compliance to applicable standards.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with other AST SpaceMobile personnel on quality issues requiring resolution.
  • Work Multiple Assignments: Work multiple assignments concurrently and maintain flexibility to production schedules.
  • Monitor Measuring Instruments: Monitor the use of calibrated measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card Holder
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Experience with Quality Assurance Principles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Aerospace Industry Standards
  • Experience with Electrical Systems
  • Associate Degree in a Technical or Engineering Field
  • 3+ Years of Inspection Experience
