Arboriculture Professional

The Department of Public Works & Parks seeks a highly skilled Arboriculture Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for various tasks related to tree maintenance and care within the city.

This full-time position involves working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain public parks and green spaces. Key responsibilities include:

• Perform manual tasks related to tree trimming, pruning, spraying, and removal.
• Maintain equipment and tools used in tree care operations.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

• Candidate must have extensive knowledge and ability to tie knots used in Forestry operations.
• Ability to perform manual work requiring considerable strength and endurance on a daily basis.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required as a condition of employment.
• Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, reference check, and CORI check.

The estimated salary range for this role is between $40,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for overtime pay and professional development.
