Infant Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Infant Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School in Uniontown. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for providing elite care to our youngest students, ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 months. Your primary duties will include lesson plan writing and implementation, meal preparation, feeding, diapering, preparing for naps, reading, and singing. You will also be expected to update babies' schedules throughout the day using an iPad and communicate with parents on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily lesson plans to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in infants
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes healthy growth and development
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates and progress reports
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree preferred
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Previous experience caring for infants in this age group preferred
• Ability to work a weekly schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:45-4:00
