Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled AP Entry/Welder Operator to join our team at North American Stainless. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stainless steel coil finishing process.


Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment to assist in the finish process of stainless steel coil
  • Inspect incoming coils for defects and enter information into the AS400 system
  • Communicate with the furnace operator to ensure efficient operation of the line
  • Monitor coils in line for steering and defects, and correct as necessary
  • Follow all prescribed safety rules
  • Perform housekeeping and maintenance work as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and speak English language fluently
  • Ability to pass a drug test, physical examination, and background check
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to see well with or without correction
