Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI testing procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI Testing Procedures: Conduct MRI scans with precision and accuracy, adhering to department policies and procedures.
  • Provide Patient Care: Obtain accurate patient screening and consent, provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age, and follow patient safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Perform and maintain quality monitors, ensuring high-quality MRI testing and patient care.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Assist with new staff orientation and training, and respond to MRI call according to the schedule.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered ARRT with MRI certification or ARMRIT.
  • Certifications: CPR - Basic Life Support.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting 50 lbs and pushing/pulling 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • Experience: Two years of MRI experience or one year of Rad Tech experience.
