Job Overview

Your Responsibilities:

As a Refrigeration Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, ice machines, and various hot/cold food service equipment for our esteemed commercial clients.

Key Duties:

  • Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems, including HVAC units, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and reach-in refrigeration units.
  • Respond to service calls across a designated area.
  • Complete service tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Gather information to address or anticipate the equipment service needs of each venue, selecting appropriate actions to meet and exceed service quality standards.
  • Communicate parts orders and repair status with customers and/or the branch office.
  • Conduct audits of truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
  • Maintain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms in accordance with company standards.
  • Fulfill on-call requirements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Commercial or Industrial Service Technician, or relevant military experience.
  • EPA certification is required.
  • CFESA certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and a good driving record with a valid IN driver's license.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with iPads.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Capable of lifting at least 75 pounds.
