What You'll Do

As a Graduate/Project Engineer, you'll play a supporting role in our team:

  • Conduct specific design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.
  • Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications on Water Resources projects.
  • Have the opportunity to perform tasks or observe projects in the field.
  • Be involved in public meetings and have other presentation opportunities.
  • Oversee the work of Engineering Technicians under the direct supervision of a professional engineer.

You may also:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets.
  • Lead multiple work teams, manage multiple complex projects, identify new projects, formulate project approaches, lead the proposal process, formulate, track, and meet project budgets and schedules, and market to and secure work from new and existing clients.
What You'll Bring

The successful candidate must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited school and 0-3 years of experience in Water Resources or a related field.
  • Our preferred candidate will have their Minnesota EIT certification and should be eligible for the MN PE license within 4-5 years.
  • A valid driver's license along with a clean driving record and the ability to work in a variety of locations.
