About the RoleAs a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing lesson plans for children with and without special needs. You will also support other teachers and students, communicate with parents, and maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Support the lead teacher in creating a comprehensive approach to address children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety standards
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education
- At least 6 Early Childhood Education units from an accredited college or university
- Proof of TB Test, MMR, and DTap vaccines
- Completion of a health screening
- Clear background check through the FBI, DOJ, and CCL
The Institute for the Redesign of Learning is a multi-service, community-based Special Education, mental health, job development, and training facility for special needs children, students, and adults. We are committed to providing a continuum of care for individuals with Special Needs, ages infants through adults, serving children, students, and clients throughout the greater Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley communities.
