This 13-week contract position involves providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and new families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide prenatal care and support to expectant mothers, including teaching childbirth preparation classes and monitoring fetal health.
  • Assist with labor and delivery, including administering medications and performing tests on newborns.
  • Offer guidance and support to new mothers on recovery and infant care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Float to Post Partum and Newborn Nursery as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school with an associate's or bachelor's degree; BSN preferred.
  • 3 years of recent labor & Delivery experience required.
  • BLS, NRP & EFM certifications.
  • Basic computer proficiency and effective interpersonal skills.
