Position Summary

The primary role of the Restaurant Greeter is to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons entering the dining area. This position is essential in creating a positive first impression and maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome all guests with a friendly demeanor.
  • Guide guests to their designated tables and provide them with menus.
  • Coordinate with the serving staff and kitchen personnel to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Assist with various tasks, including refilling drinks, setting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
  • Engage in team-oriented duties during slower periods, such as preparing take-out orders and organizing dining supplies.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Supportive Duties

In addition to the essential functions, this role may involve:
  • Addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • Performing other reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors.
Physical Requirements
  • Work primarily indoors, with a controlled environment.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, such as freezers and kitchens.
  • Must be able to stand and move efficiently for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 45 lbs. and maneuver equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred.

Certifications

Food Safety and Alcohol Service certifications are preferred.

Grooming Standards

All staff members are expected to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Azul Hospitality standards.

Attendance Policy

Consistent attendance is crucial for the success of this role. Staff members are expected to comply with company policies regarding attendance and punctuality.
