Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Pediatrician

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our pediatric department, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced office setting. You will work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or physician to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Meet regulatory requirements and standards for nursing, as well as comply with Stillwater Medical policies and procedures.
  • Provide care and communication that meet the needs of each patient and family.
  • Complete all patient documentation and charges accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
  • License to practice as LPN in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Previous demonstrated clinical experience in the physician practice setting preferred.
  • Understand the ethics of confidentiality and HIPAA regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements:
  • Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
  • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
  • Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
  • Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
