Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive wound assessments to identify underlying causes and develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide patient education on wound care, management, and prevention
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordination
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote wound healing and patient recovery
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with a focus on Wound, Burn and Ostomy care
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Wound, Burn and Ostomy care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
