About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring vehicles complete the process of being fueled, unloaded, washed, and parked. You will also assist operations with accurate sorting of freight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive empty fleet vehicles to the appropriate location to be washed and parked
  • Oversee truck washing employees to ensure all vehicles are washed thoroughly
  • Park fleet vehicles in the appropriate route docks
  • Carry a radio and report to terminals for vehicle swaps
  • Communicate with the Fleet Maintenance departments regarding vehicle changes
  • Support warehouse staff with sorting freight
  • Sort, load, and unload freight in a safe and accurate manner

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age and hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission, or have the willingness to learn
  • Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work with a full range of motion with no limits to standing, squatting, stair climbing, overhead lifting, walking, and lifting freight weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals

We offer a competitive salary of $20.50 per hour, plus shift differential. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
