This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $85,000. As a Sr SCADA Load Mgmt. System Analyst at Sparc Technology Services Inc, you will be responsible for providing senior-level system administration and technical support for SCADA and Load Management Systems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and program Unix Operating System Servers using C, Perl, Java, shell, and Advanced Control Systems proprietary programming languages and Prism SCADA servers to facilitate corporate monitoring and control of all connected substations.
  • Develop new and modify existing substation database and drawings.
  • Administer, maintain, and program Oracle Database using self-developed Utility Data Model to pull and archive historical data from PRISM system and using SQL to generate reports from data.
  • Collects and analyzes weather and load data and recommends load control strategies.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, you should have:

  • An Associate's Degree in Computer Technology or a related field from an accredited institution is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with SCADA and Load Management systems and computer programming methodologies is required.
  • Experience with Unix and Windows Operating Systems and their server and client-side software solutions preferred.

The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
