Auria is seeking a highly skilled Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the NAVWAR Enterprise Architecture (EA) to support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Key Responsibilities- Enterprise Architecture Maintenance: Support the Chief Engineer in maintaining the NAVWAR EA to support MBSE.
- Engineering Best Practices: Update engineering best practices to ensure they are up-to-date for the workforce.
- Configuration Management: Provide support to the Chief Architect for the NAVWAR EA products and act as the configuration manager of the EA and MBSE environment.
- Interface Management: Maintain already established SoS interface management control processes and products to document Technical Baselines, interface standards, controlling parameters, and interface agreements.
- Technical Drawing Maintenance: Modify existing technical drawings that document IT architectures and related specifications and requirements for afloat, ashore, and aloft platforms.
- Standards and Policy Governance: Maintain and govern Navy-mandated IT standards, CM standards, policy, and processes, and Requirements Management standards, policy, and processes.
- Systems Engineering Technical Management: Maintain all Systems Engineering Technical Management processes across the full range of Information Warfare programs and projects.
- System Operations and Administration: Support system (software/hardware/network/configuration and data management) operations and system administration, integration, and data transfer for modeling and simulation tools, architecture tools, and data repositories within the NAVWAR MBSE environment.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Clearance: Must have at least a TS level clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience with Systems Engineering and Integration, MBSE, and using digital engineering tools to design DoD systems.
- Architecting Solutions: Experience with architecting solutions from user requirements and use cases to be applied across a systems engineering life cycle.
- Modeling Languages: Experience with the practical application of Unified Modeling Language (UML) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
- Performance Simulations: Ability to conduct model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance and behaviors.
- MBSE Tools and Processes: Ability to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government clients to increase the use of MBSE for client acquisitions programs.
- System Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle, and object-oriented programming languages, including C++, Java, or Python.
- Cyberspace Workforce Qualification: Possess DoD Cyberspace Workforce (DCWF) Qualification and Management Program proficiency level of Intermediate or Advanced.
