Fitter Technician

National Fuel Corporation is seeking a skilled General Fitter to join our team at our Sharon Service Center in Clark, PA. As a General Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pipeline system.

• Install and maintain gas meters, reading meters, and performing collection work
• Turn gas on and off, and investigate leak complaints
• Perform routine maintenance on the pipeline system, including line locating
• Keep accurate operating records

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and excellent customer service skills
• Basic literacy and computer skills
• Ability to work in and around hazardous areas and walk long distances

• Experience in plumbing, heating, and/or air conditioning
• Operating an excavator
• Knowledge of gas appliance operation

• Hourly rate of pay starting at $31.71, with increases at 6 months and 1 year
