About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Immigration Services Specialist to join our team at Catholic Charities. As an Immigration Paralegal/DOJ Representative, you will provide legal services to low-income clients with immigration-related needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of immigration law and policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general consultation and representation to clients before DHS;
  • Complete forms instituted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on behalf of clients;
  • Administer duties in the program, including data entry, client intakes, fee reconciliation, and answering phones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience;
  • Previous BIA Accreditation preferred;
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing legal immigration services and working knowledge of immigration law, policies, and procedures required.
