Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Engineer to join our team at Materials Sciences LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and leading daily press-molding operations, equipment maintenance, and scheduling for reinforced polymer parts.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and lead daily press-molding operations
Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
Develop and implement process documents and work instructions
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure quality of manufactured components
Troubleshoot molds, machines, and processes

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Polymer/Plastics discipline highly preferred, or equivalent experience
Minimum three (3) years plastics injection/compression molding experience
Hands-on experience developing and establishing the process of multi-cavity mold tooling
Experience required in the injection/compression molding manufacturing environment
Knowledge of automation, electronics, including PLC programming and Fluid Power
CAD knowledge required, with training available for selected candidate
Self-starter with ability to schedule and execute tasks as necessary
