Job Title: Swim Instructor

Job Summary:

The Swim Instructor will provide swim lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach swim lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels
  • Ensure the safety of participants in the pool area
  • Maintain a clean and organized pool area
  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and colleagues
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required
Requirements:
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer/First Aid/AED Certification
  • WSI and/or YMCA Swim Instructor certification or equivalent
  • Ability to lift equipment and participants
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The Swim Instructor will work in a fast-paced aquatic environment, with frequent exposure to water and potential hazards. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude is essential for success in this role.

Salary:

$14.00 to $16.00 per hour
