FUNCTION:

The Coating Technician will execute masking and verification tasks in accordance with established company protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Comprehend and accurately apply relevant procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Examine, as necessary, production documentation and purchase orders to ascertain required engineering/masking parameters and confirm the completion of prior operations, ensuring correct quantities and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain all testing equipment and materials in optimal working condition, ensuring calibration is current for items requiring it before each use.
  • Control nonconforming and age-sensitive materials in line with established procedures.
  • Verify that the final product aligns with visual aids, drawings, production documentation, and purchase orders.
  • Ensure traceability and documentation are maintained with the order.
  • Keep the masking area clean at all times.
  • Conduct part marking verification.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Level of Education:
  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not mandatory.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to navigate the facility.
  • Occasional moderate lifting of parts and materials.
  • Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors, and temperature variations.
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection and safety footwear.
Note: This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which necessitates U.S. person status. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours of paid time off every year and 10 paid holidays.
