Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Orthopedic One. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI and X-ray exams, generating high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI and X-ray exams, adhering to established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Review images, make quality adjustments, and ensure accurate labeling of images.
  • Use radiation protection and shielding for patients and staff, maintaining required documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms, prepare them for imaging procedures, and ensure their safety throughout the process.
  • Communicate concerns about imaging results to radiologists, prepare and administer contrast materials when indicated, and perform QA procedures on imaging equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order, complete maintenance records, and troubleshoot radiography equipment/software as needed.
  • Accurately input orders, charges, and other information in the EMR, and process related documentation to facilitate patient flow.
Requirements
  • Completion of an MRI clinical program and MRI Registry eligibility within 12 months.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and current State license and professional registry (ARRT) in Radiology.
  • Previous MRI experience required, professional registry (ARRT) MR preferred.
  • Maintain current CPR/AED certification.
