Job Title: Outpatient Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will work closely with our clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create treatment plans
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and collaborate with the team to further our mission
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session
  • Lead Therapist must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 completed client visits per week
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Virginia prior to applying
  • Required experience with completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus)
