About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of hard surfaces and carpets in various areas, including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and dining rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of hard surfaces and carpets through dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
  • Collect trash, recycling, and soiled linen from units and dispose of them properly.
  • Perform additional outside work, including policing grounds, as assigned.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
