  • Take guest orders and offer recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Remain knowledgeable of liquor, beer, wine, and food offerings.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest drink trends.
  • Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on each receipt.
  • Adhere to cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventory.
  • Understand basic money handling, including cash, credit cards, and starting a tab for patrons.
  • Clean and clear tables of dishes, including pre-bussing tables to ensure cleanliness.
  • Wash glassware according to proper sanitation guidelines.
  • Can complete requirements of the job without constant supervision.
  • Flexible schedule due to fluctuating business levels and events.
  • Maintain compliance with TABC Seller/Server guidelines.
  • Advise supervisor of any feedback as soon as it occurs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Employer Paid TABC/Texas Food Handler Certification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a bartender.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Outgoing and service-oriented personality.
  • Creativity in bar service and drink creation.
  • Must be able to communicate with management, kitchen, dining room, and golf personnel.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, and frequently lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time in varying temperatures.
