About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled registered nurse to join our team at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. As a Chemotherapy/Infusion RN, you will play a crucial role in administering chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer simple to complex infusion therapy for chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatments to patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Assess, prioritize, and monitor patients under their care, utilizing strong critical thinking skills.
  • Provide education to patients, family members, and significant others regarding cancer therapy and treatment alternatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of ambulatory infusion pump use and maintenance, cleaning pumps after each use.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited program for professional nursing education (BSN preferred).
  • A current Montana Registered Nurse License.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • At least three years of experience as a registered nurse, with clinical oncology experience preferred.
