Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal business partner, the Cost Analyst will engage with multiple teams throughout the organization, facilitating cost accounting-related initiatives.

  • Manage the operational elements of the cost accounting framework.
  • Analyze the financial performance of manufacturing processes, pinpointing discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to address negative variances in plant operations.
  • Assess complex data and analytics from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and providing pertinent information to support informed decision-making.
  • Produce timely and precise plant reports, complying with established business and departmental reporting standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improving cost efficiency.
  • Record various inventory and cost-related journal entries during the monthly closing cycle.
  • Contribute to the development of benchmarks for material, labor, and overhead expenses.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and manufacturing environments.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000.
