Rehabilitation Technician

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Technician to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

• Assist rehabilitation staff with patient-related activities, ensuring compliance with state licensure and Practice Acts mandates.
• Provide technical and light administrative support to the rehabilitation department.
• Transport patients to and from rehabilitation sessions, assisting with transfers as needed.
• Prepare patients for therapy, modifying equipment as necessary.
• Report patient responses and changes in medical status to supervising therapists immediately.
• Assist with computer data entry and generate reports as requested.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of direct, indirect time, payroll, efficiency, and clinical reporting.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards of HIPAA and all Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and OSHA standards for healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with rehabilitation staff, facility staff, patients, and families.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
