ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Monitor Technician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct continuous observation of assigned patients to identify potential safety risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare personnel to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to provide timely interventions and support as needed.
- Utilize advanced monitoring systems to track patient activity and respond promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient observations and interactions.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and understand directions.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer operations skills, including Microsoft Windows.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Previous direct patient care experience.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
