Sanitation Associate

Job Summary

As a Sanitation Associate at ADUSA Distribution, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all associates. This position requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all sanitation standards established by the Distribution Center to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Pick up debris, empty trash cans, remove spills, dust racks, doors, lights, etc.
• Sweep and mop slots, clean sanitation equipment, and maintain equipment daily.
• Follow good sanitation practices, keep work area clean and free of debris, and report equipment and pallet jack problems to maintenance.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting work group or distribution center to maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs. of equipment.
• Able to stand for long periods of time and work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions.
• Able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.

Preferred Requirements

• High School Education.
• Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Other Skills

• Able to meet production standards set by the company.
• Able to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
