BCforward is currently in search of a dedicated Production Assembler to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the assembly of products according to specified work instructions.
Job Type:
Full-time contract
Expected Duration:
12+ months
Compensation:
Pay range: [$16] - [$18] per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and job responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow and verify work instructions to ensure accuracy in assignments.
2. Collect necessary materials and set up workstations as per guidelines.
3. Assemble components and conduct self-inspections to maintain quality standards.
4. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
5. Collaborate with team members and assist in various manufacturing tasks as needed.
6. Perform maintenance and calibration of equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 months of relevant experience or training.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions.
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a compliance-driven environment.
- Basic mathematical skills and computer literacy.
